U.S. Schools are in Trouble!

USA schools are ranked 24th in the globe. When we sent our best students to compete in international competition, they came in third from LAST! Drop-out rates are skyrocketing, and even students who do graduate are not trained to hold a job, in fact some of them can barely read or do basic math.

In the meantime, No Child Left Behind is a big failure!

Parents, teachers and taxpayers need to demand change. Let's stop fooling ourselves that the government is going to fix things. The agenda of the Department of Education has caused education levels to drop continuously. Combine that with increased violence and drug abuse and you have a formula for disaster.

But there is a simple PROVEN plan that can turn things around. The Kingsland Plan is a straightforward plan to stop the violence and the failures, and restore excellence to USA public schools.

As requested, I'd like to give you a few details about The Kingsland Plan:

  • Teachers take control of curriculum with teacher teams working together to strengthen each other and school performance.
  • Built in Parent Training classes, conducted by PROFESSIONAL school counselors.
  • Social promotion eliminated.
  • Problem student behaviors dealt with effectively.
  • Parent-Teacher liaisons built-in.
  • Increased community involvement
  • And much, much more.

Read Set Our Teachers FREE! A Plan to Save Public Education by Don Kingsland, and learn about The Kingsland Plan. We need teachers and parents to take back our schools and force improvements. There is now a nationwide, grassroots movement forming around The Kingsland Plan to improve ALL of our schools. Find out how you can be a part of it.

This is a rather brief article-- could you tell us more about why this plan could improve things?

Tuuxedo, I agree, we have big time problems with our education system, and I am a teacher. I think Rochelle is right-- perhaps you should provide a bit more information in your hub. Simply telling us there's a problem and suggesting we read this book tyo find out more just isn't quite enough. This is a HUGE, complex issue. Julie

There are so many reforms movements, but so little progress. I'm all for public service and I'm sure KIngplan or whatever has some merit.

For me, I've shifted to using an online homeschool curriculum to help my children today. There's so many good resources that we homeschoolers can use right away. Like SpellingCity.com and MathCity.com. Both free!
